At Thackeray Dental Care Mansfield we take complaints very seriously indeed and try to ensure that all patients are pleased with their experience of our service. When patients complain, they are dealt with courteously and promptly so that the matter is resolved as quickly as possible. This procedure is based on these objectives.
Our aim is to react to complaints in the way in which we would want our complaint about a service to be handled. We learn from every mistake that we make and we respond to patients’ concerns in a caring and sensitive way.

If one of the above is not available at the time, then the patient will be told when he or she will be able to talk to the dentist and arrangements will be made for this to happen. The member of staff will take brief details of the complaint and pass them on. If we cannot arrange this within a reasonable period or if the patient does not wish to wait to discuss the matter, arrangements will be made for someone else to deal with it.

An appointment at the dentist has always been considered an ordeal to be borne. However, our experience with Thackeray’s has taken some of that fear away. My whole family has received dental care of the highest quality. The staff are considerate, caring and sensitive to all of our needs. We cannot speak too highly of them.
I would like to express to you how pleased that I am with the work you have carried out on my teeth. When the whitening process and the idea of veneers was broached I was initially apprehensive. I need not have worried. The process took a while but it was worth it – the result has been fantastic. After having suffered an abscess beneath a crowned tooth, I was advised by Simon (Dr Thackeray), that considering the age of my crowns, this could be the beginning of a series of potential problems. Following several lengthy discussions with Simon, I decided to embark on a complete transformation of my teeth. Simon then produced a detailed plan of treatment which was fully explained to me including costs, procedure, duration and anticipated end results. I attended each appointment knowing exactly what was going to happen on that particular visit which I found very reassuring. Throughout my treatment I have consistently been treated by Simon and his team with absolute care, consideration and total professionalism. I would gladly recommend Thackeray Dental to anyone requiring this level of expertise. My treatment is now complete and I have fantastic teeth that I regularly show off by smiling much more than I used to. It is no exaggeration to say that it has changed my life. I am much more confident and happier and this has been noticed and commented upon by friends and colleagues.
